VENUS SQUARE URANUS 3rd March 2024

𝘈 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘦⁣

Before Mars meets up with Uranus later this month, Venus will have a chat with him first. Maybe to soften and ease the electrical charge for the following Mars/Uranus conversation. ⁣

Anything Venus touches softens. And even though a square aspect is a challenging conversation, they get and support each other, due to something called mutual reception: Venus (currently in Aquarius) rules Taurus and Uranus (currently in Taurus) rules Aquarius. This indicates that the energies of Venus and Mars become linked and amplified in a special way.⁣

Uranus wants authenticity and disrupts the status quo and Venus wants to connect. At first glance, this looks paradoxical but it could manifest as a great opportunity to explore how we can be authentic while still connecting from the heart. We could learn to value each other's opinion (Venus in Aquarius) while remaining in our unique nature (Uranus in Taurus). Every time we return to our body and the here and now, it becomes easier to just be. And from being we can connect much better to the heart. ⁣

Since Venus is also about our values and Uranus is about fresh perspectives, sudden insights and Aha Moments could bring new clarity about the things we value. Something that we didn't know or see before suddenly makes sense to us. We could awaken to a new reality that shifts what we appreciate. Maybe also how we value ourselves and our own voice. ⁣

Venus describes worth and value on all levels, the metaphorical and concrete. On a very mundane level, this could also describe financial eccentricities - maybe some surprises in the financial markets or new financial inventions. In any way, we can expect the unexpected when the planet of epiphanies is involved. ⁣

Have a look at 19° Aquarius and Taurus in your chart: if you find any planets near that degree, this Venus/Uranus conversation could also affect you personally - bringing you a hopefully worthy surprise. ⁣

VENUS ENTERS SAGITTARIUS 29th December 2023

Venus, the planet of attraction and connection moves into Sagittarius tomorrow. We are shifting from the deep waters of Scorpio to the Mutable Fire of Sagittarius.

Adaptability and exchange are attributes of the Mutable energy. The Fire energy describes our passion, vision, and excitement for life.

We are in our Venus when we look at somebody we love. And when we feel the sublime Awe that a beautiful painting evokes in us. It is our heart’s energy that gets activated through Venus. What is dear to our hearts also concerns our values (external values like money and internal ones) & who or what we find attractive. Venus wants to connect. With Venus in Sagittarius, we value when we can share what excites us. What lights us up activates our hearts and we might seek that passionate exchange to connect to each other now. Like all mutable signs, Sagittarius wants to relate to somebody, sharing the joy and playfulness of a fire sign. We can use the following weeks to light up a spark in one another, to make that joy contagious. To share the fun and laughter in the midst of winter, bringing a glimpse of light into our lives.

VENUS IN SCORPIO 4th December 2023

𝘋𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 ⁣

Venus is about to enter Scorpio, the sign of fixed water. We're moving from a fresh breeze of Air into deep murky waters.⁣

As a collective, our values will be mainly based on emotions, imagination and intuition the next couple of weeks. Love, connection and beauty are other Venus themes that we will express in a more intense and imaginative way than before. We might be even faced with some intense emotions around physical values aka money.⁣

The element of Water is all about feeling and intuiting. Making us more sensitive these days, maybe even a bit moody. So our values might not make any logical sense to us, but we just know what is right. ⁣

Fixed energy is deep and inwards. We prefer to contain the rich emotional world of our values private - what moves our heart is not for everyone and the world to know. Instead of sharing things or expressing them bluntly, we will take our time to assess and feel into all things Venusian. ⁣

With Venus in Scorpio, we will also appreciate a certain level of emotional depth: going below the surface level when it comes to our Venus expression will give us great satisfaction. VENUS IN LIBRA 8th November 2023

Letting the heart speak

Tomorrow, Venus will move out of Virgo into Libra. This means an energetic shift for Venus from Mutable Earth into Cardinal Air. While we were practical about Venusian themes lately, now it's changing to a more mental and logical approach.

Venus is about physical and metaphorical values, what we love and the beauty in life.

The energy of Libra - cardinal fire - describes a pure expression of thoughts and words. It represents initiating conversations around anything Venusian.

Under this energy, we are encouraged to speak our minds in anything related to love, our values - communicating what is dear to our heart. We might find truth-talking people very attractive.

Connection is a big deal for Venus, and in Libra we connect with others through our words. Maybe you feel like asking your loved ones more questions. Libra Venus will get us to see the beauty in a childlike curiosity, where no question is a wrong question.

If you have been stuck with your finances, Venus in Libra can also help bring in a stream of new ideas. The right questions could suddenly pop into your head that get you moving.

On a collective level, we will hopefully express more openly what is important to us. By letting our hearts speak…to any person we meet, no matter if friend or stranger.

VENUS ENTERS VIRGO 8th October 2023

Practical lover

Venus is about to move into Virgo soon, so what does that mean?
Take it from somebody who has Venus in Virgo in her own chart.

Venus is the planet of attraction – so anything we find attractive or like is what Venus is about. Hence love, beauty, and pleasure are associated with her. She asks us to enjoy the good things in life. Venus is also about values and what is close to our heart. Venus wants to connect to another.

 Virgo is a Mutable Earth sign: Mutable earth can be best described as interaction with matter and earth (humans, animals, plants…even rocks), our body, and our surroundings. This is also why Virgo likes an orderly space – order on the outside brings order on the inside.⁣ So maybe you’ll feel the inkling to create more order inside and outside of you.

For the next month, we might also find ourselves really valuing some quality time spent in nature, with our pets, and communicating with our bodies more. To find out what our bodies really need and give them that resource. Hello, supplements 😉

This energy is very practical when it comes to expressing love to another. Mutable Earth‘s love language is helpful and pragmatic – by doing things that are useful and giving gifts you can actually use.  You might value practical, real, and stable things more in your relationships right now.

In general, it is a good time to become more practical about improving Venusian topics like relationships or finances. At best, look for somebody to collaborate with or teach you. Virgo loves efficiency, so look for experts who can help you. Or friends who have done something similar before you. If somebody else has already figured it out, it’s wise to seek their advice. VENUS IN LEO RETROGRADE 22nd July until 2nd September 2023

𝘙𝘦𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 ⁣

We have a few interesting astrological alignments coming up in the 2nd half of the month, but I decided to post about the Venus retrograde a bit earlier, so you can tune into what it could possibly mean for you.⁣

All planetary retrogrades invite us to reflect, review and reconnect to the archetypal themes of that particular planet. Why everybody is so fixated on Mercury Retrogrades is beyond me, there are other Retrograde phases that are way more important because they happen less frequently. Like the Venus Retrogradation for example. ⁣

Venus in Leo will go retrograde on July 22nd, she is already making her descent now, preparing to die and be reborn on the 3rd of September. This is what any retrograde phase is about: the reflection and letting go of patterns that are no longer useful to us and the rebirth of a new understanding.⁣

On a basic level, Venus is the archetype of beauty, money, and attraction. On a higher level, she also represents our values, how we love, and what is dear to our hearts. And how we bring divinity into our earthly life. So the patterns we are invited to reflect on now are Venusian ones. What beliefs or recurring themes around love, money, and values can we let go of? What repeating issues around kindness, compassion, and forgiveness can we identify? And what new intentions do we want to set for our Venus patterns moving forward?⁣

Venus in Leo describes an inner flame, an inner inspiration that fuels our love nature. What inner vision regarding the Venus themes do we want to keep and what can be tossed out? Where are we too egoically attached to love, money, and beauty? Or too stubborn regarding kindness and forgiveness?

How can we keep our visions close to our hearts, without the need to share them to receive great appraisal? Can we let our inner passion be the fuel that keeps us going, like an eternal flame, with no input from the outside needed?⁣

Depending on where this Venus Retrogradation is happening in your chart, it can bring up some icky stuff. Just because it's Venus does not mean that these will be lovey-dovey days for you. ⁣

Summer 2015 was the last time we had Venus in Leo, so whatever was happening for you at that time could come up as a theme in a similar guise until September. ⁣I am certainly uncovering some uncomfortable outdated Venus patterns regarding worth and value that I am ready to let go of. My Mars & Chiron have been relentlessly testing these patterns the past couple of weeks, to make sure I'll get it.⁣

Remember, it's all an invitation to return back to the heart, to bring more of your divine loving nature onto this planet right now. And for sure, humanity and Earth could use it. ⁣

𝘉𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘱𝘪𝘦𝘤𝘦⁣

On January 22nd 2023, we will experience the conjunction of Venus and Saturn. A conjunction occurs when two planets are in the same degree of the zodiac aka they are basically hugging each other. ⁣

Saturn is known as the planet of structure and responsibility. It represents our ability to be disciplined and mature. It encourages us to get serious, stay real and achieve mastery. Venus is the planet of attraction – so anything we find attractive or like is what Venus is about. Hence love, beauty, and pleasure are associated with her. She asks us to enjoy the good things in life. Venus is also about values and what is close to our heart. When these two planets come together, they create a powerful mix. We may find ourselves being pulled between the two energies, feeling the need to both take responsibility and be disciplined, as well as to enjoy our lives and appreciate the beauty around us. This can be a difficult balance to strike, but it can ultimately lead to a mature sense of appreciation for the things we value⁣.

This combination is all about learning to embrace both pleasure and stability in the same moment. It's a time to accept that joy and growth often come hand in hand with responsibility and structure. It is also a great time to focus on building relationships and creating a secure foundation for our lives. Saturn helps us to build and make something a reality. Closely connected to value is of course money – another Venusian theme. So this conjunction could help you building a solid framework around that. ⁣

What are my fears around love and values and how can I overcome them?⁣

Am I avoiding a reality check regarding how I relate to people or my bank account?⁣

Quite literally Venus-Saturn could mean putting less money in your wallet when you go on that shopping spree to buy some new fashionable clothes ⁣

Hopefully this conjunction teaches you how to be more wise and stable than before - because that is ultimately what Saturn's reality checks want you to support with. Like Michelangelo's David, things of real value and beauty take time.

VENUS CONJUNCT PLUTO January 1 until 7, 2023

The Power of the Heart

We are starting the new year with this powerful alignment – and Pluto will play an important role again later on in March, Venus will be retrograde this year. I am getting a feeling this could be transformational year for all of us.

Venus is all about the divine spark that manifests inside of us when we look at somebody we love or the awe a beautiful flower or painting evokes in us. It is our heart energy that gets activated through Venus. What is dear to our heart also concerns our values (external values like money and internal ones) & who or what we find attractive. Venus wants to connect to another. Venusian themes are: love, beauty, heart expression, pleasure and attraction.

Pluto is not as likeable at first sight, since it usually means intense transformation when we meet it.
It’s the mushy state that a caterpillar is in before it turns into a butterfly. And anything Pluto touches and changes can not be reversed anymore. It’s the crisis that leads to a catharsis – a long overdue purge that finally gets release. Power, death & rebirth, renewal and hidden aspects are Plutonian themes.

This being a conjunction (meaning both planets huddle really close together) indicates a new cycle of the power of the heart. A renewal of our value system – what values do we want to keep, which ones can we toss out? Like a Marie Kondo detox but for your heart. Where we intensely question how much power do we give another? How much do we obsess over somebody or something close to our heart?
You might find yourself needing more intense and intimate relationships – surface level just does not cut it anymore. But make sure this does not turn into manipulation and control dynamics. Meet your own needs and work on empowering each other instead.
You could find yourself diving deep into creative pursuits – I have painted for hours yesterday, I was so immersed in the process I did not even realise it was getting dark again.
Very cliché mundane themes for the next couple of days of this transit could be transformational sex or clearing your wallet from all those old receipts you no longer need. Financial corruption coming to the surface would be another possibility or finding out hidden aspects about somebody we love.
I hope the latter is not the case – but then again, Pluto only brings to the surface what needs to come out 😊
