Slow And Steady

On June 9, we will shift our action-taking energy from fiery Aries to earthy Taurus. Now that we had a couple of weeks of bold action and new inspiration it's time to slow down and make this thing solid. We're gathering all the sparks flying around to build something tangible from it - something that will last.

Mars in Taurus is a grounded, no-fluff energy. The type of energy you need when you want to manifest something concrete and well-crafted.

What motivates us now is stability and security. Taking good care of our financial stability as well as our body. Our physical raw energy wants to be expressed in sensual slow motion. Our drive to do somethingis born from a visceral feeling from deep within the body.

And we are taking our time to go step by step. Whatever we want, we will get it just at the right time. There is no need to run after it, or try to pull it towards us. We know everything has its own timing and pace. And we have the patience to wait for that.

Like when you wait for your sourdough. It's no use to yell at it to hurry up. You could of course take it and bake a loaf of bread from it prematurely but the result won't be satisfying. At the same time, you cannot wait too long to bake it either. That is the fine art of observing matter (Fixed Earth) and knowing the exact timing to take action (Mars).

MERCURY IN GEMINI 3rd June 2024

Understanding Through Contrast

Mercury the archetype of communication is leaving the grounded realm of Taurus - Fixed Earth for the spacious realm of Gemini - Mutable Air. When thinking about this, I got the image of a drone flying up from the ground into the air, getting a great overview on things. When we are too close to the matter (Earth) our view is limited - Air gives us a better overview. Combined with the mutable energy, it means this is achieved by exchanging our thoughts and ideas with others. Because we are not 100% copies of each other, differences in opinion and contrasts show up when we do so.

The Mutable Air energy is a master at holding contrasting views, it engages with as many people as possible. Exploring as many subjects as possible. Just to learn and know more. Very often not even with a particular goal in mind, but purely for the experience. They don't need to finish things to learn from them. When an interesting subject has run out of steam, they move on.

Like a butterfly, they don't suck the flower dry but they hop from flower to flower and get a taste of a whole buffet of nectar, not only one type. And like the butterfly, we evolve our mental capacities by learning from others. Exchanging our opinions with others. Even if that means contrast.

It's an invitation to become MORE flexible mentally (if you're usually on the stubborn side). Maybe you COULD learn from another person? Maybe somebody has something valuable to say even if you don't like them or their opinion. We don't have to take it on board, but we can acknowledge how they came to that conclusion. Gemini teaches us to bend our brains a little more and to create new neural pathways.

Simultaneously, it's a good Gemini approach to put your own thinking cap on when engaging with anything you learn - it could be during conversations, when reading books or watching a Youtube video. They debate whatever is fed to them and question and poke until they can accept it as truth or not. So the next couple of weeks are great for us as a collective to not simply believe what we read and take it as truth, but to discuss every bit of information that we meet. Discuss it with the other person or in your own head. Don't just take any update or post as THE truth. Maybe it's not true for you?

MARS CONJUNCT CHIRON IN ARIES 29th May 2024

If you had an intense day yesterday:
a) you were not alone
b) you might have tapped into the beginning of a new Mars/Chiron cycle.

For many people, there was lots of frustration and anger present, but also rapid healing that started an incredible momentum for some.⁣⁣ In the next 2 years, a new layer of the Cardinal Fire wound is presented to us.⁣⁣
⁣
This combination of archetypes can give us a new direction and motivation in (self-sourced) healing. It's a great opportunity for us, to use this drive of Mars to heal more of our Aries expression, personally and collectively. ⁣⁣

As a child, one of the first things we heard was: "Stop, No, Don't do that." While it was often necessary, so we didn't run onto the busy road or kill our sibling with a knife, it was at the same time a very frustrating experience for a child. The more we heard No, the more we felt our energy and enthusiasm for life diminishing. Often we heard a No because our parents didn't know how to deal with the unbridled excited energy of a child, or they didn't like what we were doing. Not because it was dangerous, but because we did things differently to them. Later on in life, we hear the same words over and over again: in school, in work, in relationships, in society…the censoring of our god spark, our autonomous spirit, continues. ⁣⁣
⁣
Not being able to do what we want is one thing, another Cardinal Fire wound is being refused the right to exist. With Chiron in Aries, you might wonder when you are little: Am I even wanted in this world? Am I allowed to exist? Can I be fully me, without others trying to change or fight me?⁣⁣ Remnants of this are still buried within us.
⁣
No wonder there is some resentment and anger that pop up from time to time - to be acknowledged and released. Now is the perfect time for this. If you do it proactively and consciously, you'll also reduce the likelihood of blowing up randomly. Mars has a lot of energy: combined with being unconscious about our wounds, it can easily result in adults throwing temper tantrums and worse. ⁣⁣Especially when things don't go the way they want or when life is seemingly against them.

Let's get some of that abundant enthusiasm and spontaneity back, that was part of our pure nature as a child.⁣ Today as an adult, you have way more agency than you had as a child. You can reparent your inner child and show it how you’re the one making decisions now. And simultaneously, you can let your inner child inspire you to be more bold and figure things out along the way. While having a ton of fun!⁣

And another planet moves into Gemini this week: Jupiter, the great expander.⁣

When this archetype is in Mutable Air, expect enthusiastic conversations about the meaning of life, universal laws, and ethics to live by. There is no right and wrong though, Jupiter in Gemini is big enough to hold space for all sorts of perspectives we will explore during this year. ⁣

Jupiter is one of the 2 societal planets that come after our personal planets. While personal planets describe our daily immediate personal concerns, Jupiter (and Saturn) are about how we fit into a bigger group or society. ⁣

By coming together in a Gemini conversation, we can zoom out from our standpoint and gather information and perspectives from other people. Imagine hearing all sides was the foundation of every civilization and every member of society was entitled to their own opinion. But if we as a society cannot even deal with the diversity in our cities, let alone all human races and cultures on Earth, how will we be able to zoom out even further? How will we handle other species in this galaxy and the 100 billions other galaxies in the observable universe?⁣

Maybe this is what the coming months will be about: Generously granting others the right to speak their mind. And even encouraging rich diverse interactions. When 2 or more minds come together, they can often grow way beyond what they could have done alone. They create something bigger and greater together. ⁣

A shadow side of Jupiter in Gemini is the tendency of big talk but no follow through. We can now re-learn to stick to our words, a quality that has been lost in this modern-day society. 100 or 200 years ago, we could easily rely on each other's words and make verbal binding deals. It was a time when a handshake was our word of honor. The communities were still so closely knit that not sticking to our word would mean we'd get a bad reputation and were potentially shunned. They did not have lengthy legal documents for their agreements; a word and a handshake were sufficient. Nowadays, many people try to wiggle themselves out of what they said yesterday. Or they simply forget. We constantly break our word towards ourselves and others - for tiny and big things. But keeping our word could be a great antidote to all the broken promises from the past couple of years. And a big step to rebuilding the foundation of this society.⁣

Venus moved from earthy Taurus into chatty Gemini this week. And we’re coming out of the calm bubble of senses into a field of witty thoughts and conversations. While in this mutable Air energy, we might feel lighter and quicker when onnecting to others. ⁣

Venus in Gemini values bouncing off ideas and concepts with other people. The mutable energy loves exchange and the element of Air is concerned with the mental realm. With Venus in this sign, we might try to connect to others via interesting conversations. And appreciate gaining fresh perspectives from others. We are now drawn to people who are versatile in their knowledge and can hold up a great conversation, no matter what the subject is. ⁣

This airy Venus is a very social one, that seeks community and maybe even a bit of banter. Light-hearted fun is on the agenda for the next couple of weeks and a certain flexibility of the mind in relationships. When Venus and Jupiter come together, we can expect to grow beyond what we know regarding love, attraction, beauty, and our values. ⁣

It's a great time for us as a collective to open and expand our hearts more. To radiate that heart energy even further out. Most of us are doing intense shadow work right now (voluntarily or not) which allows for more capacity to hold and radiate love into the world. With everything we have let go of in the past weeks and months, we have increased our ability to connect and be in relationship with one another. And we are now ready for the next layers of shedding old stuff that stands in our way of truthful expansive relation to each other.⁣

MARS CONJUNCT NORTH NODE IN ARIES 19th May 2024

Moved By The Spark Of God

Mars, the archetype of will and action will infuse our collective emotional lessons soon. The North Node describes what is outside of our comfort zone, but necessary for our emotional evolution. This North Node specifically wants us to learn to feel our Aries power. To get in touch with the cardinal fire emotions of unbridled enthusiasm, fast excitement and reckless aggression. When Mars is added, it brings in the drive and courage to do so.

As a collective, it's a good time to check the blindspots regarding boundaries when it comes to assertion. Maybe we should have set some boundaries before that we didn't - now with the conjunction, we can start another learning cycle around this topic. We can learn to move from enthusiasm and passion and taking action based on what we want. Rather than doing things out of routine or because some authority told us to.

Aries energy is notorious for questioning authorities because it acknowledges and understands the powerful authority it has over itself. It knows and recognizes the godly divine spark and spirit each human has. A spirit with a big vision that can do anything and does not need to be told what to do.

Cardinal Fire is moved by an energy that is not from this earthy realm, it is the animating or vital principle in humans. If you look at the etymology meaning of the word spirit, it says "breath of a god". If we have the almighty breath of god within us, why do we let others dictate what to do? Why are we convinced that we are helpless and powerless in a situation?

It's because we have forgotten that we come from god/source…possibly to make this experience here more real and visceral. Had we incarnated still remembering that we carry unlimited creative power within us, things would have been pretty boring. It's now time to
re-member, to consciously make that god spark a part of us again. And to learn to let that
spark move us. When we take action knowing we carry the spark of god within, we are an unstoppable pulse of light igniting everything and everyone around us.

Mercury moves from fiery Aries into earthy Taurus today, making our communication and thoughts more grounded and practical.⁣

The archetype of Mercury describes not only our communication style, but also how we perceive and process information. And what interests us the most. We might find ourselves communicating more with our body rather than words. Showing others what we think by taking a certain posture. Expressing ourselves through physical touch to convey our message. ⁣

Our interest might turn more towards our body and the physical sensual experiences in this human life. ⁣Soaking it all up with our senses: using our smell to determine if we like a person. Hearing the tone of voice that tells us about their intentions. Tasting the love in the food cooked for us. Touching the leaves of a tree that speak of its essence. Seeing the beauty in a handcrafted gift. Feeling the message of the wind on our skin.⁣

It's also a great time to connect with our innate nature and the consciousness in all living things. We cannot hear any words spoken by a tree or an animal, but we can sense what it wants to tell us. ⁣

We might take more time in our communication now, after all Taurus is the slowest of all signs with it's fixed earth energy. This is because it needs to absorb and process with the body, in this case, it's how it processes information. The felt sense in the body helps Taurus to understand what the mind perceives. ⁣

Due to this slow nature, there is also no use in trying to rush our words and thoughts. They need time to unfold in the body and that happens in just the right pace. And it's definitely useless to try and convince ourselves and others of something. Once Taurus Mercury is certain about something it will hold onto it for a long time. Now that you know about that, keep it in mind for conversations where you bump heads with another person. If that person is important to you, maybe it's good to find a compromise and loosen the grip on your opinion just a little bit.⁣

Dare To Be Bold

Did I say go slow? Pardon me, that was a few moments ago…when I tuned into Venus in Taurus. And that's the beautiful complexity of astrology, in some areas, we might be asked to slow down, in others to speed up. We experience those seemingly contradicting energies not only as a collective but in our own charts, too! AND all is valid and perfect, it wouldn't be so complex if we couldn't handle it.

A propos handling it: Mars in Aries is an energy that some might consider a handful and hard to handle.

Which is understandable because the archetype of action moves into the fastest sign of all. Cardinal Fire moves at lightning speed and if you've ever witnessed an Aries-heavy person in action, they do not waste a single second. Life is precious and must be explored in a fast and furious manner.

When Cardinal Fire lights up, it's like a Firestarter, capable of creating a whole movement with one potent spark. Cardinal energy is fast, direct and uncensored. The element of Fire describes our passion, inspiration and the joyful sometimes reckless action we take.

Now is the time to ask yourself: what lights you up so much that it even moves people around you? So much that they follow your inspired lead? What is the thing that gets you out of bed in the morning? What makes you jump up and down with excitement? Do more of these. Mars lends us the energy and courage now to follow those passion projects, to go and take that risky leap. If there is nothing that excites you, use this time to find out what does.

Collectively, I wouldn't wanna mess with us right now (I am looking at you, big corporations and finance puppets).

VENUS IN TAURUS 29th April 2024

Festival Of Senses

Venus, the archetype of connection and pleasure moved into her home sign yesterday.

When Venus expresses herself in Fixed Earth, pleasure moves into the body and makes itself home. We start to appreciate more of what we see, smell, taste, feel and hear. Our physical senses become heightened and each bite we eat and flower we smell has so much more richness and aroma. Fixed Earth describes the stillness and concentration of matter. Fixed energy is slow and focused inward. The element of Earth describes all that is physical: our body, food, nature, and all the physical things that are part of this life in a human suit.

Venus describes what we value, what we love and how we express our love to others. She also symbolizes high ideals like harmony and peace… and how can you not come into instant peace and harmony when you look at the astonishing symmetry in nature: a leaf unfurling in an oh-so-slow movement, flowers following aesthetical symmetrical patterns and displaying their beauty in perfect spirals & sequences.

What we can learn from nature, especially during the Taurus Venus season is the harmonization of the body. It's an invitation to reflect on: what gives my body joy and pleasure? How can I bring it into more harmony and peace? The body that is so rattled from everyday stresses…How about we let it take the lead for a moment, and follow its pace instead of the pace that the world expects from us? How can I let it unfurl in its own time instead of pushing it to the max to go go go?

You certainly know the saying: When in a hurry, go slow. Only when we go slow, we can become present. From presence, we can tune in - we can listen to our own body, other bodies, and nature.

This is the perfect time for us to become still and enjoy the physical world with all of our senses. It's the time to follow our own pace, to do things in our own time. Even if that is at a snail's pace. The body will show us and teach us to slow down as an act of self-love and deep connection to ourselves.

Jupiter Uranus conjunction - a personal experience

Big Rapid Breakthroughs

I want to share my personal experience from the days leading up to the coming Jupiter-Uranus encounter. Days filled with big breakthroughs, epiphanies, and so much emotional healing. This Jupiter-Uranus conjunction (big breakthroughs) is trine (healing) my natal Moon (emotions) and Sun(ego). The right tools to really shift some very old stuff landed in my lap, unexpectedly. You could call it miracles or blessings - from what I am learning currently, it was me aligning enough with a higher true Me so I would be able to see those tools.

My theme of these past couple of days can be best described with this:
If you want to create something bigger than yourself, you have to be fully yourself first. And to be whole, you need to be authentic.

Let me explain:
Jupiter helps us to grow and expand. Uranus helps us access more of who we really are, our unique and authentic expression. If you want to grow and live a better life, you need to deal with the stuff from your childhood. You probably already knew that. The challenge is, that we as adults try to protect that inner child. Until we resolve what happened during our childhood the adult us will always try to protect the inner child.

Jupiter & Uranus start their new 14-year-long danceon the 20th/21st this month. So in this context, what does it mean when those 2 come together? They exaggerate the need for authenticity. With Jupiter as encouragement, Uranus -the bringer of light to humanity (check out the Prometheus myth)- flips on a light switch in a dark room and now we suddenly see all the dark spots that we can no longer hide. This brings us to: Shadow Work. Who knew Jupiter & Uranus had something to do with THAT?

You can only let something in (light/truth/more of the real you) if you are open. The shadows inside of us create resistance to that: they act like a lid and prevent anything from entering or leaving. What do I mean by shadows? Beliefs that are not true and unprocessed emotions that are hidden in our subconsciousness. And at some point, the pressure to integrate more light (truth/the real you) will be crushing.

The epiphanies I got leading up to this conjunction of big light not only helped me spot and release a ton of shadows that were hidden in my subconsciousness. Plus now I also have those tools I can use when working with coaching clients on these things. Unsurprisingly, this conjunction takes place in my 7th house - the house of our projections, relationships and 1:1 clients.

It was interesting to see the Taurus part play out in this: for the first time, I truly GOT on a visceral level (not only intellectually) how trauma is stored in the body and how to release it. Taurus is closely connected to the body and our somatic experience. I understood what the nervous system has to do with trauma, and how without a feeling of safety in the body, no spiritual exercises or self-improvement we do work. As a result of that, incredible financial shifts and gifts happened within 1-2 days. My mind is still blown by this.

With more and more light coming in, I would really advise you to work on clearing your shadows so you can live more authentically. You might think: Oh, I am very authentic already. But how many times do you say Yes when you mean No? Or listen to somebody pretending you are interested while you are bored to death. Nodding along and laughing when you did not find it funny at all. Holding yourself back because you don't want to be too much. Most of us are people pleasers to a certain degree…of course, none of us wants to admit that.

People pleasing is just one inauthentic consequence of the subconscious shadows steering our lives. Just the fact that ANY limiting beliefs and emotions from the past are stored in our subconsciousness makes us inauthentic. Because there is something we believe about ourselves that is not true. And there is an emotion holding us back from fully expressing our wholesome self. So none of us is 100% authentic, there is always potential for more.

This is a loving nudge from me as a (still) recovering people pleaser. If you had a less-than-ideal childhood, it's a necessary survival habit you picked up. But now you are an adult. You have big visions for your life. Once you start dealing with your shadows inside, the need for people-pleasing subsides and you can start living more authentically and freely. And from there, from this place of authentic wholeness, you can grow beyond your wildest expectations.

JUPITER CONJUNCT URANUS 20th/21st April 2024

Beyond Conformity

With all the eclipse excitement, not many people have this conjunction on their radar. But I have been excited about it for months! In the early morning of April 21 (evening of April 20 for the US) these 2 archetypes come together at 21° Taurus and blend their energies.

I'll give you a few combinations so you have an idea of what a blending of them could mean:

Surprising discoveries
Great awakenings
Big shocks
Massive breakthroughs
Rapid developments
Large revolutions
Expansions in technology
Lots of innovations
Too much detachment

Just from reading these descriptions, you can probably feel the excitement and the speed, and anticipate the mind-blowing possibilities that lie ahead of us. And I am optimistic we will choose the higher expressions of this pair. The fusion of Jupiter and Uranus also exaggerates the need for authenticity, the need for freedom, and the need to go beyond the norms. It encourages us to live on the fringes of society and march to our very own drum. It will assist us in reforming the old and growing out of that metaphorical pair of shoes that has become too small for us.

Jupiter meets Uranus every 14 years: therefore the collective is now embarking on another 14-year-long journey. Learning to delicately balance authenticity and growth and exploring how to be unique in a societal construct. With breakthroughs and developments we cannot even imagine yet.

Bringing in the Taurean fixed earth aspect, we can collectively learn how to create more material security and authentic (financial) growth. We can learn how to maintain and protect our bodies and health: by becoming more food-independent and opening our minds to new healing concepts. And how to live with and in nature…knowing the blessings and abundance it holds for us and understanding it is the key to our true authentic nature.

Keeping the above in mind, only a certain level of non-conforming and reforming can lead us to innovation and expansion: we need to break out of the old form that we know to quantum leap into something bigger.

NEW MOON SOLAR ECLIPSE IN ARIES 8th April 2024

The Existential Wound

The first eclipse is already over and we're moving quickly towards the next one on April 8th. As a part of the Aries/Libra eclipse set we started last year in spring, this one will continue with the themes of Cardinal Fire (and Cardinal Air).

We shed a few things at the Lunar eclipse, now it's time to start afresh. Even double fresh, since it's a new moon which typically represents new beginnings but also a moon in Aries, the sign that symbolizes the start of spring.

Looking at the energies at the beginning of spring, we understand how Aries is the perfect expression of it. Initiating things from a spark and with great courage. The little seedling developing underground has no other choice than to push through the soil at some stage. Not knowing what to expect, just this inner urge to move forward with a bold movement. If it wants to live and grow, it needs to break on through to the other side. And there is no time to think about that decision, when it's time to go it's time to go! It cannot allow itself to think about a fox maybe trampling on it, or landing in a cow's mouth, or being sprayed by pesticides…It cannot chicken out, otherwise it will die without the sunlight it needs to grow.

Cardinal Fire is this against-all-odds energy that faces challenges, even seeks challenges as it needs to rub against something to feel alive. This eclipse is a good time to ponder what we are willing to risk or face. What is so inspiring and vital to us that we are willing to take on the world?

Not only is it a total Solar Eclipse, but the Sun and Moon will also meet with Chiron on the same degree. And that brings a very important additional aspect to this event: Healing.

I got my message on what to heal a few days ago: A red car (how fitting for Aries) cut me off while I was driving through a roundabout. Either the person did not see me or thought they would be faster than me, I don't know. But what followed was such a strong feeling of blind rage that I sped through the roundabout (had to do an extra round because of the cutting off) and followed that red car until I got really close up. And if an inner voice hadn't told me to calm down, I might have pushed him/her off the road. I was centimeters away from his bumper - but eventually fell back and calmed down.

When I got home, I sat with that feeling of blind rage…and found out a deep feeling of hurt from not being seen was hidden beneath. Ah, such a familiar theme: being ignored, not seen, not appreciated…which I have worked on countless times. It seems I am doing another round of healing with this (pun intended).

Why does that incident fit this New Moon eclipse? The seed in the soil is also not seen. And it has to continue despite that if it wants to live. It does not know about the other seeds. Nobody is cheering it on above the ground, it is only a pure will to live that drives it to action. New Moons are seeding points where you start something new, you plant a seed but you don't see any results yet. Also, the blind rage is a shadow side of cardinal uncensored fire.

So this eclipse is a new opportunity to work on healing wounds in our Aries expression. It can be this existential wound of: am I allowed to be here, am I seen? Or our ability to channel that fast fire: Can I express my fire in a more fully, more uncensored way? So that I don't blow up and go fully unhinged in the future. Look at the suppressed fire within you, chances are with these energies it will come out and find a way to express itself. And also embrace that fiery side of you! We want to be good humans and we want to be liked so much, that we often suppress that part of us. But without the cardinal fire in us, we would be dead already. To truly live, you need a bit of fire and zing.

19° Aries in your chart will give you clues about where you might need to heal some of that Aries expression. Which house is it in? Maybe this eclipse even pings one of your natal planets that is at 19° Aries (and 19° Libra, 19° Capricorn and 19° Cancer). In my chart, 19° Aries is in the 5th house, the house of fun and risk, and the eclipse will be opposite my Mercury in Libra. Mercury is not only associated with communication but also with movement and transport like cars…Dreams and symbols could also reveal that healing message to you.

What you personally and we as a collective experienced last year in March could be something that comes up again now, but this time with a potential for healing, Have lots of compassion with yourself and others the next couple of days, you never know what pains they are currently trying to heal.

MERCURY RETROGRADE IN ARIES 1st April 2024

Adjusting The Heat Level

Yes, it's that time again - Mercury is going retrograde 1st of April. I still don't get people's fascination with Mercury Retrogrades but hey, at least Mercury gets some attention on its journey through the year. Usually, other planets seem more appealing or at least more exciting than the messenger. Which I find a bit sad, because, after all, communication is the basis of civilized human life. Imagine you couldn't speak or write and share yourself with the world? Imagine you couldn't hear - it would be a very lonely life.

Mercury in Cardinal Fire represents the inspired message that HAS to be spoken, even if it ruffles a few feathers. Or is met with resistance.

The inwards movement of a retrograde planet invites us to reflect, rethink, and reassess. In this case, to reassess the volume or amount of fire we communicate with.

Is our message uninspiring and lifeless like a damp cloth somebody has left in a bucket?
Is our message scorching and blazing like a wildfire, sparing nothing and nobody?

As a collective, maybe it is time to adjust the heat level when it comes to what we speak and think about. In some areas, we might need to speak with more courage, become louder, and more passionate. Putting a bit more Oomph into what we have to say. And making our desires and inspiration known. In other areas, we might need to turn down the dial a little bit.

I see so many heated discussions about trivia, whereas really important topics are not spoken about. It sometimes looks like the majority of people make more fuss about celebrities and which Zodiac sign they hate the most than the state of the world.

With this Mercury Retrograde in Aries, we have the perfect opportunity to go inward, muster all the courage we have, and come out again with vigor. So we can address even uncomfortable topics head-on first. And take a loud and clear stand.

FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE IN LIBRA 25th March 2024

Speak Up, Speak Out

Everyone is talking about the Aries eclipse on the 8th of April, but the first eclipse this year will be on the 25th of March, in the sign of Libra. This eclipse continues the Aries/Libra eclipse set we started last year in April.

While Solar eclipses tend to bring new beginnings, Lunar eclipses often signify a final ending of something. The purpose of a Lunar Eclipse is to shine a glaring light on things so we can change. Often, this reveals the true character of a person or a situation - so be prepared that you might not like what you see.

Libra is Cardinal Air, known to be searching for answers and being outspoken. Though Air is not only about communication and the mind but also about community. Connecting and networking with other people. After all, language and words are tools to connect with others.

If you follow my posts, by now you know that Libra means unfiltered (Cardinal) Words (Air). Therefore, this eclipse could bring up uncomfortable truths about speaking in an uncensored way. Some other themes could be anything related to making connections - by networking, coming together in a community and having conversations.

Intellectual (Air) dominance (Cardinal) can be another Libra expression, which I had a taster of this week. And in a Lunar Eclipse fashion, I made sure this was the last time. On a personal level, you might encounter people or situations where you are not allowed to speak freely. Or where you are exposed to somebody trying to dominate a conversation. We as a collective could face issues of censorship or something prompting us to finally speak up.

Eclipses are not exactly subtle, but the intensity is necessary because we did not pay attention to the little signs before. Sometimes the big guns are needed to get us on the right trajectory. It's not always challenging news though: if you are on a pretty good path already, chances are this eclipse will only bring you even MORE positive confirmation of this. Also, things don't just come up on the eclipse day itself, they can show themselves days and weeks before and after. Take note of all cues and signals you get near an eclipse. You could even have dreams dealing with the themes of the eclipse.

It's always good to look at the opposite sign, in this case Aries, and the opposite house of where the eclipse is happening for you. Aries is cardinal fire, which indicates taking bold action and being a courageous leader. Which is what was requested in my situation. It could also cause us to have a short fuse, so try to keep this in mind when interacting with others.

Remember what happened on a global and personal level around the Libra eclipse on 14th October last year. This will give you clues about which theme(s) might be continued with this one. Then check the house where 5° Libra is found. For me, it's the 11th house, the house of groups. Planets close to or at 5° Libra (and also 5° Aries/Capricorn/Cancer) will get pinged by this eclipse, therefore check if you have any planets on those degrees in your birth chart.

MARS IN PISCES 22nd March 2024

Be water, my friend

Mars is about to move from Aquarius into Pisces, the Mutable Water sign. The water element signifies emotions, intuition, and imagination. It signifies our heart's energy and qualities like empathy and sensitivity. When we add the mutable energy to it, we have even greater adaptability and flexibility - think of a super liquid with Zero resistance to flow!

Mars describes how we make sure that we get what we want and how we avoid what we don't want. It is commonly known as the archetype of sex and war, but really it describes our raw physical lifeforce and primal instincts that keep us alive.

Collectively this means our drive and motivation will be primarily steered by our emotions. We will act more on hunches and our intuition, instead of logic. We might be less direct and more fluid when setting boundaries or confronting a challenge. Like water slipping through the fingers that try to grasp it. There is no need to use brute force when you can take the form of the thing that challenges you. Make it a part of YOU and make yourself a part of it. We can establish boundaries in different ways - by adjusting to the object, we will find a way around or through it.

By no means is water a weak element - it is strong enough to hold up a ship. Water can also sink the same ship by finding the tiniest hole in its hull.

The coming weeks are a great opportunity to come together and move mountains with our imagination. As the ocean washes over the rocks, we can take off the edges of whatever is in our way by flowing and dreaming together.

VENUS IN PISCES 11th March 2024

Permeable Flow

Venus moved from the deep mind of Aquarius into the heart-based exchange of Pisces. Pisces as a mutable water sign is about sharing how we feel, relating heart-to-heart and being in tune with the unseen and unspoken. The archetype of Venus describes how we connect to others and the things we value.

As a collective, we are now valuing compassion, intuition, and emotional exchange more than before. One develops great sensitivity and selflessness by embodying and allowing a permeable flow between all living beings, which is the beautiful foundation of the positive Piscean traits. Over the next weeks, we might bond with other people by vulnerably sharing our dreams, and being genuinely interested in each other's emotional states. Venus in mutable water guides us intuitively, so for us to relate, we don't need many words or actions. We tune in and feel the energy and the emotional state of another person.

Getting a hold of others might prove rather difficult during this time, but then again, mutable water does not need to pin down or be pinned down. It needs to flow freely and shift from a drop to the whole ocean, knowing we are all part of the same cosmic waters.

THE DARK SIDE OF...

Capricorn - Cardinal Earth

The descriptions I share below only apply to unevolved Capricorns. With Capricorn I mean: Capricorn Sun, Capricorn Moon or Rising Sign or any other heavy emphasis of Capricorn in the chart. So don't think just because you are not a Capricorn Sun that this does not apply to you. Go check your chart, everyone has Capricorn somewhere. Sometimes pronounced with a planet or angle. That being said, there are many Capricorns who don't display these traits. If you get triggered by this description, maybe there is something here for you ⁣

The Shadow side of all cardinal signs is dominance. Capricorn tries to establish dominance (Cardinal) through physicality and practical things (Earth). ⁣

They try to make themselves indispensable so that you will rely on them. This can be by showering you with gifts or practical offers to help. The gifts don't come from a purity of heart though but to earn enough brownie points in advance so they can come back to you later and claim something in return. You might have even declined their offer, but you'll still get it regardless. They could be the person who always helps, who has all the tools one could ever need. And they generously offer these proactively to you while filing away how much you owe them by now.⁣

Also, an unevolved Capricorn may reach out to you with an agenda in mind. You know those calls and messages where you can feel straight away it's not about the connection itself. They contacted you because they want something from you.

Physical dominance can also be exerted quite literally, by taking over physical space. When you live together with them, they might take up most of the storage room, claim the best room in the house for themselves or put their belongings in key areas to display they are the boss of the house. Like with everything that's hidden in the shadows, these things happen subconsciously and they are not aware of it. ⁣

Not only do we have an exact Mars Uranus square today, but Mercury also moves into Aries.⁣

The tone of our collective way of communication shifts from mutable water into cardinal fire. ⁣From mutual hugs to hot leader so to speak. Sorry about the cheesy wordplay

Fire is an inspired energy, that illuminates the way OR scorches the path, depending on its intensity. ⁣And it can be a thin line between inspiring others and roasting them, so try to be mindful of your words.⁣ But one thing is for sure, our conversations will be more dynamic, passionate and possibly louder over the next couple of weeks. Waking up even the sleepiest of our fellow human beings.⁣

The Cardinal energy acts like a starter - put Fire and Cardinal together et voilà, you have a firestarter ⁣And if you are familiar with Aries people, you know they can light a fire under your bum.⁣

THE DARK SIDE OF...

Fixed signs love their own bubble, and when you are in your own bubble, it is difficult to see another person, let alone see them at eye level. Something mutable signs are better equipped at.⁣

Two of fixed signs favorite words are 𝐦𝐞 and 𝐦𝐲. Taurus (Fixed Earth) is no exception to this.⁣

Possessiveness and stubbornness might look cute when it shows up as hoarding beautiful trinkets and fashion magazines from the 80s until now. It stops being cute when it spreads to people. Taurus can be very possessive when it comes to people: they might feel they own you and they need you to do what they want. Jealousy can be an ugly by-product of this if they regard you as their own.⁣

Their craving for possessing things is for material (Fixed) security (Earth) which, when overdone, can morph into greed and self-indulgence. Self-preservation is one of Taurus' main goals, which can make them emotionally unavailable when you need them the most. Their inner peace and happiness are more important to them than making sure that you are OK. ⁣

If they want you to be part of your life, a lot of calculation and strategy on Taurus' side goes into winning you over. You might find yourself showered with lavish gifts, sensual massages etc. But once they've got you in the bag chances are the unevolved Taurus will start taking you for granted. ⁣

They are often selfish and want you to be the way THEY like it. Preferably just like them. They might tell you what to do, when to do it, how to be - and everything on their terms. While preaching about how everyone needs to be themselves. If you are not 100% according to their liking yet, they truly believe they can change you and will try to. ⁣

Fixed Earth can exhibit a certain self-centeredness that expresses itself in a "my way or the highway" attitude. If you had a fight with an unevolved Taurus, do not expect an apology. They won’t apologize, even if they are wrong and it was clearly their mistake. Finding a compromise with an unevolved Taurus is an impossible task, so you might just wanna drop that idea instantly. ⁣
