MARS SQUARE URANUS 9th March 2024

𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘥 𝘉𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘉𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘴⁣

Mars and Uranus will meet for an intense conversation on the 9th of March.⁣ When we hear Mars and Uranus, we might already anticipate that this transit will be anything else than boring.⁣

While the classical interpretation of Mars/Uranus is about accidents and sudden forceful events, I want to offer a different view here. I don't deny there is something to this since I had my own shocking awakenings with personal Mars/Uranus transits. But I want to show more facets of how this could play out collectively.⁣

Uranus breaks up and shakes up. It is the planet that is associated with light bulb moments and awakening to a different reality. Since Uranus wants us to step into more authenticity, if Mars tags along, we know that this point will be really driven home. ⁣

Mars brings energy into the conversation: it helps us to set our boundaries better and to act on what we want. Maybe louder and clearer than ever before. ⁣

Taurus (fixed earth) is about our body and material security. And Aquarius (fixed air) describes our mind and community. I could see this as a coming together of communities to take care of their material security. Or a rallying of forces regarding our freedom of speech and being able to decide about our own bodies. Possibly as a result of a challenge or new uncomfortable information coming out.⁣

Both planets are in fixed signs, which could indicate holding strongly onto these principles of freedom and autonomy. Somehow the battle scene of Braveheart comes to mind where the warriors are told to Hold. We might go within and listen to our body and mind which could jolt us out of complacency in a certain area. It could be a forceful intervention that shakes us awake or a revolutionary insight that will inform our actions. Or all of it.⁣

For sure, this will be a planetary conversation we cannot ignore. Because it is a square aspect, there will be a challenge, a stumbling block that creates an inner drive to change something. Before Mars meets up with Uranus later this month, Venus will have a chat with him first. Maybe to soften and ease the electrical charge for the following Mars/Uranus conversation. ⁣

Anything Venus touches softens. And even though a square aspect is a challenging conversation, they get and support each other, due to something called mutual reception: Venus (currently in Aquarius) rules Taurus and Uranus (currently in Taurus) rules Aquarius. This indicates that the energies of Venus and Mars become linked and amplified in a special way.⁣

Uranus wants authenticity and disrupts the status quo and Venus wants to connect. At first glance, this looks paradoxical but it could manifest as a great opportunity to explore how we can be authentic while still connecting from the heart. We could learn to value each other's opinion (Venus in Aquarius) while remaining in our unique nature (Uranus in Taurus). Every time we return to our body and the here and now, it becomes easier to just be. And from being we can connect much better to the heart. ⁣

Since Venus is also about our values and Uranus is about fresh perspectives, sudden insights and Aha Moments could bring new clarity about the things we value. Something that we didn't know or see before suddenly makes sense to us. We could awaken to a new reality that shifts what we appreciate. Maybe also how we value ourselves and our own voice. ⁣

Venus describes worth and value on all levels, the metaphorical and concrete. On a very mundane level, this could also describe financial eccentricities - maybe some surprises in the financial markets or new financial inventions. In any way, we can expect the unexpected when the planet of epiphanies is involved. ⁣

THE DARK SIDE OF...

𝘈𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘶𝘴 - 𝘍𝘪𝘹𝘦𝘥 𝘈𝘪𝘳⁣

Aquarius itself is not as revolutionary as you might think (that bit comes from Uranus, its ruling planet). Because revolution implies being able to move. The word revolution comes from rotating or turning, which you cannot do when you are fixed. ⁣

Like all Fixed Signs, it likes to hold onto things, in this case ideas, opinions or ideologies: ⁣

Fixed energy holds, preserves and is focused inwards.⁣

Air is about concepts, communication and ideologies.⁣

An Aquarius-heavy person can feel the need to maintain their opinion no matter what. Putting ideologies over the heart-to-heart connection with another human being. There is a coldness and ruthlessness when Fixed Air goes too far. Opinion trumps empathy and they won't move an inch from what they think is right. This is when the themes of equality and freedom of speech get twisted into a: my truth is better than yours.

We can see that play out on a greater scale with cancel culture and the abuse of seemingly great ideologies in our society. Like promoting freedom of speech but only if you are on the right side. It can go as far as holding onto their idea until the bitter bloody end. The end justifies the means. They might have a humanitarian approach, but that does not equal compassion. After all, we are talking about Air here, not Water.⁣

If you've ever gotten into a discussion with an unevolved Aquarius, they will stick to their opinion and secretly feel they are intellectually superior to you. A bit like a scholar who has studied all the books in the world and now feels they are the only ones who are allowed to talk about a certain topic. With this stubbornness, they might actually block moving forward from old traditions and concepts, because their focus is on what the ancient master so and so said. On a personal level, they can find it hard to move on from an old story they keep telling themselves and others. Which will be brought up again and again.⁣

I have seen (luckily very few) Aquarians who have a weirdly skewed perception of reality because they mold the world around them so it fits their narrative. Rigidly ignoring that they have been abusive and insisting on telling everyone how great they are (because they truly believe it). These are the people who would get accused by many around them but 100% believe they are doing no harm and everyone accusing them is wrong. They will not question themselves or step into empathy for others. Not an ounce of curiosity or wondering: what if I am wrong? ⁣

Note that with Aquarius I mean: Aquarius Sun, Aquarius Moon or rising sign or any other heavy Aquarius emphasis in a chart. Also, everyone has a house in Aquarius, so check your chart to see in which area of life you might be too rigid with your opinions ⁣

Venus went from practical Cardinal Earth into analytical Fixed Air yesterday.⁣

The archetype of Venus is about the things we love, how we love, what we love, and what is dear to our hearts. The heart-to-heart connection we seek with other people, our values- metaphorically and literally as in money. ⁣

Venus in Fixed Air craves mental stimulation. Like all air signs, Fixed Air is about theories and concepts - while being able to hold all kind of thoughts no matter how big or outlandish they might seem. It's a sign of Fixed Air's love to give you room to process your own thoughts - which some might mistake as being detached.⁣

We might appreciate people now who are able to form and hold their own opinions, who are not swayed by others. As a collective, we might also want to deepen our knowledge and wisdom. Reconnect with ancient wisdom, and preserve the knowledge we have gathered for future generations. ⁣

Projects and ideas could go into an incubation period right now - where we want to feed and hone that thought until it is ready to see the world. ⁣

You've probably heard that Chiron is the "key" to healing ourselves. It is also the shaman going from the physical into the metaphysical world. Since Chiron moves between the realm of Saturn and Uranus, it can help us bridge the gap between the physical 3D plane and the metaphysical higher dimensions of our soul's existence. ⁣

I would even say that Chiron is the quintessence of what it means to be a human: being incarnate (Saturn) while knowing that we are soul (the outer planets). It is the wanderer between worlds. And just like Chiron couldn't die from his wound yet also couldn't heal it, we are stuck with the dilemma of having to navigate 2 worlds. The world where we are separated and limited vs. the world where we are limitless and all one. Like Chiron, we have received wounds and trauma through no fault of our own, sometimes just by existing. Which makes staying in physicality really hard sometimes.⁣

This is an observation I kept making the past couple of weeks: We might be so familiar with the one direction of going from physical to metaphysical that we sometimes forget to return to our earthly life. We want to ascend, transcend, and be in that place where we are soul, not body. But what we tend to forget is that a bridge goes both ways: we have to return from time to time…to take care of our body, the taxes, the money problems - all the real stuff we want to avoid. Spiritual Disneyland feels much better than dealing with real responsibilities. And who cares, everything is collapsing anyway and we're going to be in a better New World in no time, right? ⁣

I believe we can only fully heal our Chiron expression when we learn to integrate both worlds. If we abandon the body and Saturnian responsibilities, we might not live much longer. If we abandon the metaphysics, our life might feel meaningless and too heavy to bear. ⁣

This collective key to healing our wounds right now is conjunct the North Node. The North Node describes the unknown territory that we need to move towards for our emotional evolution. Both Chiron and the North Node are in Aries, Cardinal Fire. ⁣

Cardinal Fire is about individuation and, therefore brings healing through individual action. Each of us needs to take matters into our own hands and tackle head first, whatever world we are neglecting. Act with joy and vision - in both worlds. And be fully autonomous individuals in the physical and metaphysical sense. Hopefully, with great inspiration, we will take on the challenge of healing more of the Chironic wound. By integrating and accepting this earthly experience with all of its flaws while working toward that greater vision of a better world. Taking action in the physical and metaphysical, putting as much energy into paying our bills as we put into the exploration of our spirit. And evolving into fully-fledged individuals, who follow their own authority.⁣

On a personal level, look where 16° Aries is in your chart: this will tell you what area of life requires your attention for healing and development. It's the area where you need to find that balance between the worlds, where you need to become that sovereign shaman. ⁣

On the 13th, Mars joins Mercury in the sign of Aquarius. ⁣

Mars is often depicted as the archetype of war and sex. Which really does not cut it. ⁣Yes, it is a more primal and instinctive energy. But it is so much more: it is the energy that drives and motivates us, that pushes us to take action. Mars helps us to go after what we want and protect ourselves from what we DON'T want. This planet describes how we set boundaries and how we assert ourselves.⁣

Air is about reason, the intellectual mind and theory. It is also very socially inclined: community and social causes are important to this element.⁣

Fixed energy is intense - it holds strongly onto something, in this case opinions, thoughts and knowledge. With Mars in Fixed Air, we will know what we want and don't want by orienting to our inner voice. By following our own concepts and theories. No matter how weird or far out there they might be. ⁣

Having your own opinion is very important when it comes to boundaries, otherwise you are just following along with the herd. ⁣

We might also set our boundaries by simply detaching ourselves from people or situations - if reason is lost with somebody there is no need to keep engaging. ⁣

Because Mars also represents our anger, communal and collective issues might come up that anger us. Or situations where we see ancient knowledge in danger of being wiped out. Which is where we will be asked to step in with strong reason and say no more! ⁣

MERCURY IN AQUARIUS 5th February 2024

Lots of planets will be in Aquarius shortly:⁣ Mercury on the 5th, Mars on the 13th and Venus on the 16th. ⁣We'll also have the New Moon in Aquarius. Pluto is already in Aquarius. ⁣So the Fixed Air expression will be really prominent this month.⁣

But first, let's talk about Mercury in Fixed Air:⁣ We are moving from a practical earthy realm into a more intellectual airy one.⁣

Mercury is about how we communicate, receive, and process any kind of information (speaking, writing, learning). How we understand and make sense of things.⁣

The Zodiac Sign describes HOW we use Mercury - our mind and voice - in this case in an Aquarian Fixed Air way:⁣ Air is mostly preoccupied with knowledge, conversations, and reason. ⁣

As a fixed sign, Aquarius tends to the inner knowledge and holds onto its thoughts, it develops its own opinion and cares little about what others think of it. Imagine a quiet study room secluded from the world, with books up to the ceiling and you get an idea about the Fixed Air mind.⁣

Studying things deeply, reflecting and listening to the voice within is something we will do now when it comes to using our mental capacities. Not really preoccupied with what other people think, but intensely listening within so we can form our own opinion. Gathering all the information, then sorting through to discern what is aligned with us and what is not. ⁣

We will make more decisions based on that discernment - hopefully allowing others their own opinion as well. On the flipside, our conversations could quickly turn into a mute staring contest, where each of us does not want to give in and compromise. Another word for fixed is stubborn and it can be hard work to convince a Fixed Air mind of something. For better or worse. ⁣

Achieving what the heart desires

Venus has joined the club of planets that are currently in Capricorn. Capricorn as a Cardinal Earth sign acts faster than the other 2 earth signs but still belongs in the earth realm. Making it grounded and practical.

As the planet of attraction, Venus is about anything we find attractive or like. Hence love, beauty, and pleasure are associated with her. She asks us to enjoy the good things in life. Venus is also about values and what is close to our hearts.

Venus in Cardinal Earth craves solid, tangible connections. We might appreciate people who keep it real, who are not afraid of putting in the work to stay in a relationship with us. People who we can rely on when s* hits the fan. It is a sign of Cardinal Earth's love when a friend or partner takes over when we are sick and takes care of what needs to be organized around the house.

We might find ourselves more often in nature now, enjoying the beauty of it. The beauty of being in this physical reality and being alive.

Projects or ideas close to our hearts could go into the actual seeding phase now - it's a good time to plant that seed by taking the first practical steps towards it. If you are somebody who likes to plan at the beginning of the year and break down their goals into actionable steps, now would be the best time for that. Chunking down the big mountain so you can achieve what your heart desires.

PLUTO IN AQUARIUS 20th January 2023

𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧⁣

This is the second time Pluto moves into Aquarius, the first teaser happened last year for just a few weeks. This time, it's gonna be a few months in Aquarius until it moves back one last time into Capricorn in September. Eventually, in November, it will move permanently into Aquarius for the next 20+ years. ⁣

Right now, we are at the last degree of Capricorn, tidying up the Cardinal Earth theme collectively. ⁣

The nature of Pluto is to uncover things in the shadows…transform them and liberate us. And lots of things are coming up lately, that were not spoken about before. The toxicity of Hollywood, the corruption of the financial system, the darkest secrets of governments and other institutions…anything that has to do with status and physical material dominance (Cardinal Earth) is put to the test. Whenever institutions tried to dominate nature, the human body or tried to rule society by using matter, this was the signature of Capricorn.⁣

With Cardinal Earth, we have learned how to initiate creation in this physicality and we've taken it to the max. Now it's time to put this expression of consciousness back on the shelf, but not after we thoroughly tidied up the room.⁣

Once Pluto moves into Aquarius, we enter the realm of Fixed Air. Away from the material realm, into the intellectual and social realm. ⁣

Pluto in Aquarius is commonly described as a rise of Transhumanism, tech innovations, social revolution, decentralization etc. Which are technically all Uranus concepts, the ruling planet of Aquarius. And you've probably seen enough sensational "will AI take over the world" posts already.⁣

So I will cover the essence of Aquarius here, known as Fixed Air:⁣

This expression of consciousness can be described as: my truth, my knowledge, my opinion, my community. It's the inquisitive mind, capable of reason and deep conversations. ⁣

Lots of people see Pluto in Aquarius as the saving grace, saying things like: "Thank god we're leaving Capricorn!" But I want to throw in a caveat here: ⁣

There is a fine line between following your own inner voice and being rigid in your thinking, the flipside of Fixed Air. Which you could translate to Cancel culture. Think like us or else. And because Pluto has been so close to Aquarius the past couple of years, we've already had a taste of it. This is going as far as censoring knowledge which has been valid for hundreds of years, just because it does not fit the current narrative. With the fast advancements in technology. I can see how we will be tasked to become keepers of knowledge and preserve information so it will still be available to our children and grandchildren. For topics that matter to you, maybe buy a couple of real books instead of the digital formats.⁣ Fixed Air is the ideal record keeper.

I truly hope we will go in the other direction: where we have access to ALL information and let other people have their own opinions while we develop our own.⁣

If Fixed Air could speak, it would probably say:⁣

Think for yourself. Make up your own mind. Uncover the wisdom inside of you - not outside. Stop following the leader, the guru, the teacher. Stop waiting for a certain influencer to post on something, please even stop waiting for my astrology posts (in case you do that). Everything you need to know is inside of you. ⁣This is the evolved side of Pluto in Aquarius: a truly deep thinker, who is fully empowered by being able to think for themselves.

Last Degree Of Pluto In Capricorn

𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘪𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘦?⁣

We're in the last degree & minute of Capricorn - tomorrow Pluto will move into Aquarius until it retrogrades back to Capricorn in September for a short while. Whenever a planet goes back and forth over a certain degree, this is a lesson we really need to learn before that planet can move forward on its trajectory. And with the last degree of a sign, it happens to be a wrap up of that expression.

So this year, while Pluto will be going back and forth over the last degree of Capricorn, we might want to thoroughly reflect on the past 16 years. Since 2008, we have collectively explored the Cardinal Earth theme when it comes to Pluto. Power/empowerment, control, purge and transformation are all Pluto themes. These are reflected in what we experienced the past couple of years:⁣

A simultaneous surge in control (and purge of the same) when it comes to creating and initiating physicality. In some cases, that resulted in us trying to dominate matter, nature, and the body. The unevolved expression of Cardinal Earth asks: What's in it for me? and: How fast can I get it? Instant gratification & manifestation, which has been a motto for sure.⁣

In the past years, we have lost touch with true creation: Creating based on a natural impulse was pushed aside for strict plans to create more views, more clicks, more likes - so we could get more status, more money, and more authority. Building and growing enormous physical assets was reserved for a few at the top. And they built them like there is no tomorrow. But lately, young kids have been generating millions online…rushing in a new era and breaking up the crusty structures of traditional money-making. ⁣

We've lost touch with the body: not trusting it, blaming it, and shaming it. Knowing better than it. Feeding it with chemicals instead of natural food and remedies. Now, many of our bodies revolt - against the toxins and the stress we put them through. At the same time, healthy food and somatic work have become big trends as we realize our body needs to purge all of the emotional and physical toxicity.⁣

We've also lost our connection to Mother Earth: the humility and common sense when it comes to co-existing with nature. Now, nature clearly shows us there is no dominating her…and many followed the call already to go back to the roots, go off-grid, and start a veggie garden - in harmony with nature. Perfectly aware of her power, respecting the seasons and intricate ways of her ecosystems. We can have all the technology in the world, nature always has the last word. ⁣

We don't need to direct nature, she is perfectly capable of providing everything we need if we let her do her thing. We don't need to block the sun, print food or stop breathing. We need to stop unelected psychopaths who stuff their pockets with money by exploiting every living thing on this planet excessively. Interfering with nature and starting wars so they can have even more gains. If we got rid of them, and everybody was handed back the land that rightfully belongs to them, we'd have a perfectly natural equilibrium again in no time. ⁣

I hope the era of Pluto in Aquarius will bring on that change. ⁣

Mars entered Capricorn 3 days ago - the archetype of our will and determination is now in a grounded and practical earth sign. ⁣

Of all the earth signs, Capricorn is the fastest since it is cardinal earth. ⁣

Cardinal energy initiates and acts quickly compared to the others. And that is one of Capricorn's forte: organizing something quickly, in a simple and direct way. Earth has no time for fluff, and even more so Cardinal Earth. ⁣

We might find ourselves rolling up our sleeves and acting with pragmatism to get the ball rolling. We are now able to direct our action towards real physical things that matter.⁣

Since Mars is also about setting boundaries, we can now identify with sober eyes where we need to say No - not in a dramatic or emotional way, but simply by moving on swiftly because we've got better things to do. The down-to-earth energy of Capricorn can help us now to reach our goals and create something solid from our desires. ⁣

Cardinal energy is the one who goes first and leads, so on our way forward we got to make sure to look back from time to time and see if everyone is able to keep up with the speed. ⁣

Venus, the planet of attraction and connection moves into Sagittarius tomorrow. We are shifting from the deep waters of Scorpio to the Mutable Fire of Sagittarius.

Adaptability and exchange are attributes of the Mutable energy. The Fire energy describes our passion, vision, and excitement for life.

We are in our Venus when we look at somebody we love. And when we feel the sublime Awe that a beautiful painting evokes in us. It is our heart’s energy that gets activated through Venus. What is dear to our hearts also concerns our values (external values like money and internal ones) & who or what we find attractive. Venus wants to connect. With Venus in Sagittarius, we value when we can share what excites us. What lights us up activates our hearts and we might seek that passionate exchange to connect to each other now. Like all mutable signs, Sagittarius wants to relate to somebody, sharing the joy and playfulness of a fire sign. We can use the following weeks to light up a spark in one another, to make that joy contagious. To share the fun and laughter in the midst of winter, bringing a glimpse of light into our lives.

Beyond the Self

Mercury meets the Sun today, in a very close conjunction. When Mercury is "in the heart of the Sun" it's an opportunity to understand ourselves on a deeper level. It's a great day to communicate who we are with more clarity and confidence.

A Mercury Cazimi happens quite regularly compared to other planets since Mercury is the closest one to the Sun. But there is something special about this Cazimi: the sun was just aligned with the Galactic Center on the 19th, receiving lots of cosmic energy and data. Which the messenger planet Mercury now gets infused with.

It's the perfect time to open up to insights and wisdom from our essence. The Sun represents Consciousness. It describes what we mean when we say I AM. Mercury brings in information, that now is not only charged by the sun but is supercharged from beyond.

With the recent influx of that galactic energy, we might suddenly remember that we go even further than this one life on Earth. That we have lived many lifetimes on different planets, belonged to different star races, and traveled through universes. Our body will simply know what is true when we receive that information from the sun.

On a more spiritual level, this Cazimi could be literally described as a translation of light into language. If we could perceive (Mercury) the light (Sun) in us and everybody else, imagine how different the world could be. And now imagine if we knew everybody's galactic and earth lives, parallel, past and future ones…all of them. If we could see the whole picture of what makes up our essence. The good, the bad the ugly. We would realize that we are all part of 1 source, experiencing itself in a multitude of facets. How differently would we carry ourselves and express the parts of source consciousness we identify with.

MERCURY IN CAPRICORN RETROGRADE 13th December 2023

𝘙𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘪𝘯𝘥⁣

Mercury has just moved into Capricorn a few days ago, and already goes Retrograde today. ⁣

Sure, we all heard about the effects of Mercury retrograde, which are also catastrophized quite a bit in social media and even by some astrologers: ⁣

Beware of phones breaking down, laptops crashing, traffic chaos and by no means should you sign any documents! It could seem like this is the season to annoy us all. But only if you let it and don’t look deeper into the meaning of Mercury retrograde.⁣

The lesson of Mercury retrograde is NOT to teach us to do regular data back-ups of our laptops (although that could be useful anyway). It is a lesson in taking the time to reflect, reconnect, review, and revise. ⁣

When a planet goes retrograde, it means the planetary quality is internalized for that period of time. The planet seemingly travels backwards on its journey through the skies.⁣

With Mercury being about how we communicate, receive and process any kind of information (speaking, writing, learning), the retrogradation is the natural phase in the cycle where the thought process is internalized and reflective. We are asked to listen to our inner voice instead of all the voices on the outside that bombard us daily.⁣

Mercury is currently in Capricorn, which means we are filtering communication and thought processes through the lens of Cardinal Earth. ⁣

As a cardinal sign, Capricorn is a practical initiator of things, in this case of communication. ⁣

So take this retrograde period to reflect on what conversations you might need to start? Is there any real talk that's overdue? Any constructive or creative thoughts that need to be poured out into doing soon? Maybe there are completely new ways of thinking that come from this reflective time. ⁣

On the other hand, with the Capricorn filter, we might focus too much on the practicalities and directing and organizing - instead of a wholesome communication. The cardinal earth filter could hinder us from making those connections because we are too focused on telling others what to do. Leaving no room to appreciate the other, or dismissing their feelings in favor of getting stuff done. ⁣

Once Mercury goes direct on January 1, it is time to take what you learned in the previous weeks and construct amazing things from your mind. ⁣

Venus is about to enter Scorpio, the sign of fixed water. We're moving from a fresh breeze of Air into deep murky waters.⁣

As a collective, our values will be mainly based on emotions, imagination and intuition the next couple of weeks. Love, connection and beauty are other Venus themes that we will express in a more intense and imaginative way than before. We might be even faced with some intense emotions around physical values aka money.⁣

The element of Water is all about feeling and intuiting. Making us more sensitive these days, maybe even a bit moody. So our values might not make any logical sense to us, but we just know what is right. ⁣

Fixed energy is deep and inwards. We prefer to contain the rich emotional world of our values private - what moves our heart is not for everyone and the world to know. Instead of sharing things or expressing them bluntly, we will take our time to assess and feel into all things Venusian. ⁣

With Venus in Scorpio, we will also appreciate a certain level of emotional depth: going below the surface level when it comes to our Venus expression will give us great satisfaction. Mercury entered Capricorn - Cardinal Earth - on Friday. After communicating based on Fire, we are in the Earth realm again. Bringing more grounding and practicality to our communication. ⁣

Mercury is not only about our communication but in general, how we perceive information and process stimuli that come our way. With an earth Mercury, we might find ourselves wanting more practical tangible explanations and experiences to understand things. Exploring everything with our hands and common sense. ⁣

The Cardinal energy will give it a touch of straightforwardness - cardinal signs are fast and direct, they do not like to wait around. So communication, just because it is in an earth sign, does not mean it will be super slow. Earth is the slowest element, but since we are talking about Cardinal Earth, it is still somewhat uncensored and fast. Just more expressed by practical doing instead of logic, excitement or emotions. ⁣

Initiating things is also one of the cardinal facets, so we might initiate more conversations and address things that need to be spoken about pragmatically. Capricorn appreciates a no-fluff approach, that is realistic and and constructive.⁣

We have finished the visionary fiery Sagittarius style, now it's time to ground Mercury into reality. By making practical decisions and creating tangible conversations in the next couple of weeks.

MARS IN SAGITTARIUS 24th November 2023

Partners in Crime

Mars is soon going to move from watery Scorpio (fixed water) into fiery Sagittarius (mutable fire).

When it comes to Fire signs like Sagittarius, we've got to think passion, inspiration and vision. These people are bold and courageous, but different to Aries who likes to go first and lead, Sagittarius wants company in their endeavors.

Mutable Signs need other people they can do, see, feel and think together with. Which is why Sagittarius wants to share their excitement with others, a partner in crime. Their motto is: 2 heads are better than one when it comes to executing on a vision.

As a collective, we had the opportunity to conjure a lot of inspired thoughts the past week with Mercury being in Sagittarius already. Now it's time to take action on these. What we want is to execute on the vision we share. Going after our passion that lights a fire in our heart. And encourage each other, when it comes to asserting our boundaries and stating what we need.

Collaborating either in bold action or reckless shenanigans, both is very welcome right now. Adding a dash of playfulness and fun to get what we want might be the best Mutable Fire trick to propel us forward. Seeing challenges as a game and facing them as a team makes things much easier.

On a personal level, you might find yourself wanting to team up with others to tackle whatever is in front of you. Go find other people who can support you in your vision and fuel you into action, instead of dampening your spirit.

MARS CAZIMI IN SCORPIO 18th November 2023

Fighting The Good Fight

From yesterday until the middle of December, the Sun and Mars come together in a conjunction. Two potent archetypes who combine their energies. In this case, it is also what astrologers call a Cazimi: a very close conjunction. While the close conjunction of the Sun and Mars only happens for a short time, a wider conjunction will still be in effect in the coming weeks. So Sun and Mars continue their huddle, just with a bit more wiggle room between them.

A Cazimi means a planet being in the heart of the sun, derived from the Arabic term kaṣmīmi “as if in the heart.” For most planets, a Cazimi happens at least once a year, or even more often. Since a Mars Cazimi only happens every 2 years, this is something worth noting.

When a Cazimi occurs, the qualities of that particular planet are thought to be vitalized and purified by the Sun. When the Sun illuminates a planet, it infuses it with its energy, giving it an additional boost.

During a Mars Cazimi, the Sun will shine a light on how we express our Mars nature as a collective.

The fusion of these 2 powerful energies provides us with a storehouse of fuel. We as a collective might have more drive and will to go after what we want and also set some clear boundaries, saying: No more!

To me this planetary combination almost has a holy feel to it, like fighting the good fight for what we desire. It can certainly help us to overcome any challenges with a lot of courage we can now tap into.

Under Mars Cazimi, we can become more conscious regarding our instinctive nature. This could lead to a better awareness of our collective anger, which for sure needs room for healthy expression after all we have been through and are still going through.

The Sun also represents our ego and Mars describes how we take action. So on the flipside, it could mean we're going to see more action being taken from the ego. At the moment, both planets are still in Scorpio, fixed water, adding a certain emotional intensity to all of it.

Let's hope for the positive pure expression of confident assertion rather than egoic action.

Letting the heart speak

Tomorrow, Venus will move out of Virgo into Libra. This means an energetic shift for Venus from Mutable Earth into Cardinal Air. While we were practical about Venusian themes lately, now it's changing to a more mental and logical approach.

Venus is about physical and metaphorical values, what we love and the beauty in life.

The energy of Libra - cardinal fire - describes a pure expression of thoughts and words. It represents initiating conversations around anything Venusian.

Under this energy, we are encouraged to speak our minds in anything related to love, our values - communicating what is dear to our heart. We might find truth-talking people very attractive.

Connection is a big deal for Venus, and in Libra we connect with others through our words. Maybe you feel like asking your loved ones more questions. Libra Venus will get us to see the beauty in a childlike curiosity, where no question is a wrong question.
